Opportunity for MV StudentsStudents, faculty and staff from all HLC-affiliated institutions are invited to enter HLC’s 2019 Annual Conference art contest. Submissions to the contest should be original pieces of art illustrating the conference theme. The winning artwork will be used as the symbol of the conference and featured on all web and print promotional materials.
Finalists chosen by HLC will be voted on by HLC’s membership in an online poll in February 2018. The winning artist will be awarded $1,500. The deadline for submission is February 9, 2018. Theme: “Roadmaps for Student Success”The 2019 HLC Annual Conference will focus on how institutions of higher learning can work with students to create roadmaps for student success. The conference will provide forums for discussion of innovative programming and support services that meet students where they are and help them achieve success. In addition, presenters and attendees will explore how accreditors can establish realistic definitions and measurements of success, reflecting students’ goals for their education and institutions’ unique missions while still ensuring accountability and educational quality. How to EnterAccepted File Types: JPG and PNG Submission Deadline: February 9, 2018 Review Conditions of Entry and Enter Now Selection and PrizeHLC will select 3–6 finalists from the submitted entries. In February 2018, HLC will invite its member institutions to vote for their favorite design through a weeklong online poll. The winning entrant will be notified shortly after voting closes. The original version of the selected artwork must be received by HLC by February 26, 2018. The winning design will be announced on HLC’s website and social media, and a prize of $1,500 along with a certificate of award will be sent to the winning artist. Comments are closed.
