April 12 - May 4, 2018
Reception: April 14, 1 - 3p Pantone: Little Boy Blue invites all artists to create works of art that are predominantly the color, Little Boy Blue. This open call welcomes artists of all levels and mediums. This exhibit is a fundraiser for the gallery and an opportunity to bring together artists who have and have not shown at USG. The exact color was selected through online vote based on colors from the Pantone Spring Color Forecast. You can visit Pantone’s website for more information. The name of the color is Little Boy Blue, which will produce four swatches. Pantone 16-4132 TCX is the exact one we are sharing the RGB information on, which is 110 162 213. We know everyone’s screens are slightly different and not all calibrated the same. Please try to be as close to the selected color as possible. You work should be predominantly this color. That statement is up for interpretation, but we have some suggestions. If you have a large focal point, you could make it Little Boy Blue. You could use values of Little Boy Blue for an entire work. This color needs to stand out in your work. Click HERE to see a promo with the color. Union Street Gallery 1527 Otto Blvd, Chicago Heights, IL 60411 unionstreetgallery.org Comments are closed.
