Design a series of 2 posters with 3 accompanying web ad graphics.
- Choose a social cause. Gather information about it.
- Find related visuals to use as references.
- Write a design brief. Define the purpose and function of the poster series, the audience, and the information to be communicated.
- Design a 2 posters and 3 animated web ad graphics to promote your social cause.
- Include web URL so people can join your cause (this can be fictitious)

Project Specs
Part 1 - Posters for print
- Dimensions: 2 posters at 24" x 36" posters
- Orientation: Landscape or Portrait
- Color space: CMYK
- Medium: You choose; final format must be digital. Remember we will be animating so keeping elements separate is to your advantage.
Part 2 - Web ads
- Dimensions: 3 ads at 468px x 60px, 120px x 600px, and 250px x 250px
- Orientation: according to dimension sizes
- Color space: RGB
- Medium: HTML5, Animated GIF, or SWF
Deliverables
- Color laser print of your final project on glossy paper; be sure to write your name and date on the back.
- Native and pdf file - Organized with correctly named layers and artboards showing your variations.
- Document all your reference image sources on your blog along with links to sources / bibliography info (put on blog).

- Image of your final project
- Artist statement for your piece. Remember to use design visual language. Should be about 1 paragraph in length.
3. Print final project on good quality paper. And bring it to class for critique.
